through the south of perú
Lima, the capital of Perú, lies on the country’s arid Pacific coast. It’s a bustling metropolis and one of South America’s largest cities. Enjoy the best of Perú tourism in Lima, a city full of rich flavours, unique experiences, and the magical union of the past and the present.
We will be flying in Miraflores, swooping up and down the Costa Verde, and even buzzing past Larcomar’s restaurants at lunchtime. Probably the best view in all of Lima. It does get incredibly busy with the presence of the best-organised tandem operation in the whole world. But, we know the boss!
POPULAR NAME FOR PACHACAMAC
Flights in the Pachacamac Valley, located in the Lurín district of Lima (about 20 miles southeast of Central Lima).
The paragliding season in Pachacamac runs from October to April. The mountains of Pachacamac form a beautiful valley. The active flying in Pachacamac is a different experience, exciting and intense with midday stop due to the increase of wind speeds.
The afternoon often ends with lunch in the village or trip back to Miraflores for the afternoon and evening flights.
RELIABLE WIND HITS AT NOON
The flight in Paracas is so smooth and quiet that all your attention can be devoted to the amazing view.
It is a magic place: where the desert meets the ocean. It is one of the most scenic flying spots in the world. The landscape in the Paracas National Reserve is reminiscent of being on another planet. The magnificent rock formations of the desert imposing upon the ocean will be the source of lift from which our flight benefits. You will see the waves breaking against the brightly coloured sandstone cliffs and the birds soaring right next to you.
You can raise your chances of spotting dolphins to a near-certainty. After the visit to Paracas we will return to Lima to catch a domestic flight to Arequipa the next day.
second biggest town in Peru
Arequipa it is located in the southeast of Peru, limits with Ica, Ayacucho and Apurimac at north, Moquegua at the south, Cusco y Puno at the east and with the Pacific Ocean by the west.
Arequipa is the capital of the Province, Department and Region of the same name. It lies in the Andes mountains, at an altitude of 2230 meters above sea level (7,314 feet); it is the second largest city of Peru with an average of 300 sunny days a year.
Our activities will be in the south of the province in Camaná (Province Camaná) 173 km / 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Arequipa where we will stay additional two days to fly Camana’s beautiful dunes near the beach.
Onwards travel will take us with another local flight to Cusco where we are to stay further three days.
WHERE THE HISTORY BEGINS
Cusco, a city in the Peruvian Andes, was once capital of the Inca Empire and is now known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture.
Plaza de Armas is the central square in the old city, with arcades, carved wooden balconies and Incan wall ruins. For Incas, Cuzco was the belly button of the world.
A visit to this region tumbles you back into the cosmic realm of ancient Andean culture – knocked down and fused with the colonial splendours of the Spanish conquest, only to be repackaged as a thriving tourist mecca.
The capital Cuzco is only the gateway. We will be using Cusco as a base for three days. For those who wish to paraglide, we will be going every day to Valle Sagrado and the others are welcome to organise their INCA TRAILs or visit world’s renowned Machu Picchu.
Paragliding community will help you in organising the trips.
Tucked under the tawny skirts of formidable foothills, the beautiful Río Urubamba Valley, known as El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley), is about 15 km north of Cuzco as the condor flies, via a narrow road of hairpin turns. It will take about 45 minutes outside of Cusco to reach the take-off at an elevation of approximately 3,600 to 3,800m, and you could reach heights up to 5,800m while paragliding.
For the less experienced we will arrange tandem flights. It’s also worth exploring this peaceful, fetching corner of the Andes with attractive colonial towns and isolated weaving villages.
Returning daily to Cusco where we will be staying for three days. Domestic flight Cusco – Lima will take us back to Lima from where we will return home.

Good Words From Good People
The experiences I had on all paragliding trips with Sasha was just amazing, he’s a super pilot with a lots of knowledge and experience on sites around the world. We have been to Turkey, Spain, Cyprus, France and Italy. 10 out of 10 on very aspect. Very friendly and helpful indeed. Highly recommended!
I travelled to Greece with Sasha for one-to-one post CP training.
The trip was very well-organised, with good planning ahead as well as full flexibility to adapt to changing wind and weather and maximise opportunities for flying.
Sasha is an excellent teacher, he is very patient and highly skilled at matching the individual needs of the student. In five days, I crossed the gap between being qualified as a Club Pilot and feeling confident to actually do it. In particular, his focus on ground handling is massively important and beneficial. Also, narrated tandem flights during the trip helped me to learn alongside Sasha in the air.
As a solo female on the trip, I always felt comfortable and safe.
I really enjoyed seeing the country, learning a little of the language and meeting local people. Sasha has a talent for finding the best places to eat and every meal was a feast.
I highly recommend the tandem flights, post CP training and trip … I will be doing it all again soon, so I might see you there!
